The unique circumstances of the leadership that Steve provided included fundraising, while deftly managing the unimaginable impact of a global pandemic on our families with children undergoing serious pediatric illness,most of them immune compromised. Under Steve’s leadership, the House furthered and adopted our present Long-Range Strategic Plan, and amid an unprecedentedworld-wide pandemic, kept our doors open through the entirety of the pandemic,while balancing the annual budget through two entirely virtual Galas, onevirtual Skate with the Greats and experienced an expansion of Individual Giving, and Foundation and Corporate support.
